Checking Performance of Product Titles in A/B Testing (Google Analytics Dashboard)

You can check the performance of your titles at any time.

Just log in to your Google Analytics and create a Dashboard with two widgets (one for product title variant A, and another for product title variant B).

This will allow you to create a view with top 10 products from your feed. To see more, you need to create a new Custom Report.
To verify titles performance in Google Analytics, follow the steps below:
  1. In Google Analytics, click Customization > Dashboards > Create
  1. Select Blank Canvas, enter Titles version A or Titles version B as a name, and hit Create Dashboard
  1. In Add a Widget section, select Standard > Table
  2. In Display the following columns, select Page (or Page Title) as a dimension
  3. Next to it, select Pageviews and Transactions as the two metrics to follow on
You can also choose any other metrics you consider useful in terms of performance of your titles.
  1. In filter this data, select Page as a dimension, then select Containing and insert the value ab_version=A
  1. Follow the steps one to 5 again, and then select Page as a dimension, select Containing and insert the value ab_version=B
  1. To show the data for a given channel, click Add a filter, select Full Referrer, Containing, and then provide the domain name of your channel (e.g. Google) (optional)
