✨AI Auto-Categorization
✨ As for now, using the AI Optimization feature is available when:
- You map Google Shopping, Facebook, Bing, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest channels
- Your source feed is in English, German, Polish, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian
We're working on developing the possibilities for more channels.
How can you categorize your products with AI?
-
Select a field containing your product types.
A product type is a classification of products that share common characteristics, for example:
Iphone, Samsung Galaxy, Xiaomi Redmi → Product type: Smartphones
2. The AI assigns categories to each product type.
3. Make sure that all categories are correct. If they are not, edit them.
4. Assign the default category to products that are missing one.
We highly recommend that you select the default category. It lets you avoid missing categories at every feed update. So you can rest assured that all your products have categories assigned to them.
How to change the categories assigned by AI?
- Click on the purple box with the assigned category.
- When the sidebar slides out, select the category of the AI suggestions that better matches your preferences.
3. Or look for the category below. In the search bar, write the category you’re looking for, then select the correct one.
💡You can also improve AI categorization with manual categorization.
You can assign the desired categorization to specific products by setting rules manually.
The AI Auto-Categorization will align with any setup you choose for manual categorization. Learn more below on how to assign categories manually.
